Parrish is a small but rapidly growing community in Manatee County, located just outside of Bradenton. It is situated near Tampa Bay on the western side of the peninsula. Housing options in Parrish include single-family homes, townhouses, condominiums, and land for building. It includes established neighborhoods which have been in place since the 1980s, along with newer neighborhoods that are still being developed. Centrally located, it is close to many recreational, shopping and entertainment areas. Parrish offers a relaxed way of life, with easy access to the area's many beaches, parks, waterways and marinas. There are also numerous golf courses within easy driving distance of Parrish. Residents in Parrish enjoy spectacular views of the Gulf waters, along with beautiful white sand beaches. The gated community of Chelsea Oaks offers a beautiful country setting with many lakes and preserves. It is also centrally located and close to the beaches. Aberdeen is close to the area's schools and is a great place for families, offering wooded properties. Forest Creek is popular with nature lovers, as it includes an 18-acre lake, nature trails, observation areas and a bird rookery. It also features amenities such as a pool, spa and community gathering area. Foxbrook offers the best in country living, with large one acre properties. Harrison Ranch provides amenities for both families and retirees. Twin Rivers is a very family-friendly community, offering water front property along the Manatee River and Gamble Creek. Currently offering lots ranging from half to over one acre, there are also plans to offer multi-acre lots.
