Of all regional housing markets in Florida, Southwest Florida is one of the most satisfying for all parties involved. The area is one of the most charming in the Sunshine State, and we don't have to look too hard to find those iconic elements of Florida right in our backyard. Case in point: The Village of Cortez in coastal Manatee County; specifically the Cove Sound Yacht Club and its exclusive collection of Key West style homes, one of which we recently closed.
Cortez is a tiny village that is rich with Florida history. It has served as the ideal backdrop for Hollywood filmmakers wishing to portray the quintessential Florida ambiance in movies like Great Expectations, Out of Time and Palmetto.
