Neal Communities, one of the most prestigious builders in Florida and the United States, recently inaugurated an exclusive residential planned development in the coastal city of Venice. Neal Communities has built some of the finest neighborhoods in the Sunshine State for over 40 years, but Grand Palm is the first project entirely developed and managed by the company in Venice.
Construction workers broke ground at the Grand Palm in Venice at the end of last year (2011), and on September 7 the president of Neal Communities gave commencement to the company’s largest residential development. The Grand Palm in Venice will consist of almost 2,000 single-family homes built in accordance to the Sarasota 2050 Initiative, a plan to foster sustainable development in Southwest Florida and become the most desirable place to live in the United States.
Grand Palm is the result of careful planning and meticulous construction. A perfect balance of comfortable living, residential amenities and nature preservation makes Grand Palm a new model American community. Home shoppers can choose between five different architectural designs offered by Neal Communities and a range of floor plans. Two of the home series, the Coral and Cottage homes, feature maintenance-free arrangements for families to enjoy life without concerns.
Life at the Grand Palm begins with affordability. The Coral and Cottage home series start at less than $200K and feature home plans like the 1,434 square feet, two-bedroom, two-bathroom, and two-car garage Crystal Sand. The higher end floor plans are found in the Cove series, like the 2,367 square feet and three-bedroom Windsong that can be negotiated for less than $275K.
The nature preserve at the Grand Palm takes up one-third of the community’s acreage. The 10-acre Exploration Park at Grand Palm is the largest of the 25 parks interspersed around the 10 subdivisions and neighborhood centers that are connected by biking and hiking trails. Residents will soon be able to enjoy full access to a 39-acre lake and travel by canoe to an eight-acre island. Other neighborhood amenities include fitness centers, swimming pools, playgrounds, dog parks, basketball, tennis, volleyball and bocce courts.
The city of Venice offers residents all the charms of a small beach town with the promise of the best quality of life in Florida. Grand Palm neighbors are never far from shopping, recreation, business, or education. Students can attend the award-winning public schools of the Sarasota School District, as well as a number of prestigious private academies.
Venice is known for its gorgeous beaches, as well as for its rich heritage that dates back to the late 19th century. The master-planned Grand Palm is a glimpse at the high quality of life that residents of Venice will enjoy in the 21st century.
Please feel free to contact me about Grand Palm. The community is just getting started and they will be building for a long time.
