My Facebook Fan page is just another resource I use to promote my sellers homes in Sarasota and Bradenton Florida. Our plan in the beginning (February 2010) was to get a following or fans and then put out good quality content about the area, real estate advice, news and home improvement tips. The best use of this page is to promote new listings and open houses.
The way we do this is through the news feed, You Tube for Facebook and my notes page which imports my blog. By now I’m sure you know how the news feed works. If you are a fan of my page my messages show up in your feed. If you think it’s a good message you can comment, share or like it and that increases visibility. The You Tube application allows us to show off your home through video which illustrates the most important details of your home with pictures and sound. Importing my blog through the notes page is the final way I’m using the FB fan page to promote your home. The most important categories of my blog are the “Featured Properties” and “Manatee and Sarasota FL Homes for Sale”. These categories are your homes and the message needs to be heard in as many places as possible to get your home sold.
The whole point is I don’t just stop with my real estate website to get your home sold. According to a recent study, done by the National Association of Realtors, 90% of homebuyers use the internet to search for their home. But there is a lot of competition, so it is important to shout from as many rooftops as possible that your home is for sale (if you know what I mean). The Facebook Fan page, Realtor.com, You Tube, Twitter, Ebay, Craigslist and numerous other sites are other “extra” resources (or the rooftops) I am using to go the extra mile for you to get your home sold. Getting your home sold is a win-win for both of us.
