CalAtlantic Homes, the residential development firm that resulted from the merger of Standard Pacific and Ryland Homes built a great community in Osprey.
Located south of the Historic Spanish Point and just west of the Tamiami Trail, the Palms at Casey Key in Osprey is a small collection of luxury single-family residences that are perfect for first-time home buyers and seasoned real estate investors alike.
With only 31 lots, the Palms at Casey Key is a very intimate neighborhood. Prospective home owners have six basic floor plans to choose from; each model has at least two possible configurations to guarantee architectural diversity. For example, the four-bedroom and three-bathroom Emerson II model features 2,902 square feet, but it can be developed as a house with a porch, veranda and French doors or as a classic Sarasota home with a large entryway, elaborate foyer and high ceilings.
CalAtlantic included lots of upgrades in each property at the Palms. The five-bedroom Celebration II floor plan features granite counters, cherry wood cabinets, a double door entry, and three-car garage. This model would be attractive for a multi-generational household or an extended family, and it can be negotiated for less than $775K in late 2024. Latest pricing will be found below if there is inventory.
A few seafood restaurants are located near the Palms. A Walmart Supercenter is within walking distance just south of Bay Street, and there are two historic attractions just minutes away: Spanish Point and Bay Preserve. Also within walking distance: the Osprey Fishing Pier, which overlooks Casey Key. Driving to the beach takes about five minutes via the Blackburn Point bridge.
