There’s a new master-planned community being developed in Southwest Florida, and it is located between two arms of the Manatee River in Parrish.

Twin Rivers in Parrish is a large residential project being developed by various home builders, including Arthur Rutenberg, M/I and Medallion Homes. There are hundreds of single-family residences planned for Twin Rivers in Parrish, and most will occupy a plot that measures at least an acre.

As of November 2016, new lots at Twin Rivers were listed around $75K.  The land where this project is being developed is bordered on the north and south by narrow sections of the Manatee River; the home sites are surrounded by meadows, lakes, ponds, and creeks.

Nearly all properties in Twin Rivers will enjoy water or forest views.  Planned amenities include a large community park with playgrounds for children, a boardwalk near the Manatee River, basketball and tennis courts, a sand court for beach volleyball, and athletic fields.  As the future homeowners associations of Twin Rivers gain more members and become organized, more amenities may be added.

Pricing at Twin Rivers starts around $300K for three-bedroom and two-bathroom homes with more than 2,600 square feet of interior.  Prospective buyers who would like more space and luxury should consider the four-bedroom estates built by Arthur Rutenberg; these homes feature extras such as private swimming pools with outdoor grill areas and sun decks, gourmet kitchens with custom cabinet work, breakfast nooks with aquarium windows overlooking lakes, high-end appliances, extra dens to use as media rooms or studios, and others.

Life at Twin Rivers is quiet, peaceful and convenient.  The closest supermarkets are less than two miles away at the Parkwood Square and Silver Leaf shopping centers.  For more shopping and entertainment, Twin Rivers neighbors have the Ellenton Premium Outlets, Downtown Bradenton, or Main Street at Lakewood Ranch within reasonable driving distance.  Weekend attractions include the beaches of Anna Maria Island, and Lake Manatee State Park.
