The residential development that Parrish experienced in recent years reached a point of maturity when median home values reached levels similar to those in Bradenton. This trend has been largely positive for Parrish homeowners, and it continues to offer great opportunities for smart real estate investors. With prices as low as $377K for new construction homes, Grand Oak Preserve is a perfect example of the advantages that the Parrish housing market continues to offer.
Grand Oak Preserve in Parrish is a new gated community located about three miles northeast of the Ellenton Premium Outlets. This project, which is managed by Florida home builder Adams Homes, used to be called The Ponds, and it was interrupted over many months by the COVID-19 pandemic. The neighborhood was platted for 78 lots of at least 0.15 acres, and many of the home sites enjoy views of lakes and nature preserves.
Adams Homes has selected 10 floor plans ranging from 1,368 to 2,705 square feet of interior space; their style is inspired by American Craftsman design with a few touches of Tuscan home architecture. Most of the models feature three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a two-car garage, but the larger floor plans are built on two levels with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and three-car garages.
All homes at Grand Oak Preserve are either brand-new or completed over the last two years. Some of the upgrades thoughtfully included by Adams Homes include plank-style tile flooring, plush carpeting in the bedroom, granite countertops, stylish kitchen cabinetry, covered Florida rooms, and decorative foyers. Some of the models earned the Parade of Homes Award when they made their debut in 2020.
The desirable location of Grand Oaks Preserve puts residents within easy driving distance of the new Shops at Silver Leaf and Parkwood Square shopping centers, which are both anchored by relatively new Publix supermarkets along Highway 301. New restaurants in the area include Butterfields and Ferraro’s Italian Grille. Some of the nearby family attractions are the Florida Railroad Museum and Little Manatee River State Park. The beaches of Anna Maria Island are less than 50 minutes away.
