Bellacina by Casey Key is a future residential community being developed by renowned home builder Taylor Morrison. As its name implies, Bellacina is located just a couple of miles inland from Casey Key in Nokomis, which means that driving to the beach only takes a few minutes.
Taylor Morrison is developing Bellacina into a resort-style and maintenance-free community that will equally appeal to families, retirees and single professionals. Bellacina is one of Taylor Morrison’s Esplanade communities, which means that residents will be able to enjoy a full range of amenities, including: a dog park, nature trails, fire pit, community swimming pool, clubhouse, bocce ball, and a modern exercise room.
Bellacina will consist of approximately 300 single-family residences based upon six floor plans. Two of the home designs in this neighborhood are inspired by Mediterranean resort villas: The Roma floor plan offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms built on 1,689 square feet of living space. The Arezzo model is a little larger with three bedrooms and two bathrooms built on 1,926 square feet.
Some of the upgrades that home buyers can expect at Bellacina include: dual walk-in closets, designer kitchens, energy-efficient appliances by General Electric, American Woodmark cabinets, Moen faucets, acrylic finishing on the lanai, sliding doors, and lake views. Pricing starts as low as $343K for a three-bedroom home as of 2016; however, real estate professionals expect that home values will quickly appreciate in this gated community.
Bellacina is a very quiet neighborhood with easy access to family attractions. Oscar Scherer State Park is only a couple of miles to the north, and beach lovers have two ways to get to Casey Key: Albee Road to the south and the Blackburn Point bridge to the north. In terms of shopping, the nearby Nokomis Village is anchored by a modern Publix supermarket that gets great reviews from shoppers.
