The main gate is located in the southwest quadrant formed by the intersection of Laurel Road and Jacaranda Boulevard; this is the same part of town where upscale communities such as Aria, which is also developed by Neal, can be found. Laurel Road will also take you to the nearby Plaza Venezia shopping center and its new Publix supermarket. If you travel east on Laurel Road, you will reach the southern portion of the Myakka River State Park; if you travel east, you will reach the Nokomis Public Beach.
