Looking for something different in Manatee County?  Cross Creek in Parrish is an affordable neighborhood with amenities in a great location.

Cross Creek is a new residential project being developed by Medallion Home in Parrish, specifically in the Fort Hamer district near the River Wilderness Golf and Country Club.  More than 1,000 single family residences are planned for this community, but Medallion Home is starting with a few dozen properties in 2016.

Six floor plans have been selected for the initial phase at Cross Creek.  The builder is taking a break from the typical Sarasota architecture in favor of updated Caribbean designs.  Once completed, available listings will start under $250K for two-bedroom homes built on 1,534 square feet of living space. The largest floor plan, the Aruba, features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms built on 2,395 square feet.  This is a gorgeous floor plan that looks like a classic Key West home and can be negotiated for less than $325K.

This neighborhood is one of various that are under construction in anticipation of a planned bridge over the Manatee River that will connect Lakewood Ranch directly with Parrish.  Once this bridge is operational, property values at Cross Creek can be expected to climb very rapidly.

As a family-friendly community, Cross Creek in Parrish offers amenities such as playgrounds, a swimming pool, water slide, dog park, community center, outdoor grill area, nature preserves, and more.  A few golf courses and county parks are within short driving distance; Downtown Bradenton and the beaches of Anna Maria Island can be reached in about 30 minutes with light traffic conditions.  The closest Publix is located within The Shops at Silver Leaf, which is down the road from Cross Creek.
