Located in the Palma Sola district, not far from the beaches of Anna Maria Island, Fiddlers Green in Bradenton is a residential subdivision originally developed in the 1990s. Although Fiddlers Green is not a gated community, it offers plenty of privacy and seclusion thanks to being situated in a low-traffic sector of cul-de-sacs. In fact, this neighborhood is surrounded by newer gated communities, but it offers greater real estate diversity.
Fiddlers Green is ideal for house hunters looking for larger properties with backyard space, sidewalks and mature landscaping. The predominant architectural style is Mediterranean Revival, but you can also find Modern and Key West Homes along with older Florida ranches that have been upgraded in recent years. Pricing starts around $355K for a three-bedroom home built in 1994. A five-bedroom estate with 2.5 bathrooms and nearly 3,000 square feet of living space was listed for less than $559K in mid-2019, a great deal considering that Fiddlers Green is just 15 minutes away from Downtown Bradenton and even closer to Holmes Beach.
Some of the most attractive properties in Fiddlers Green are located on cul-de-sacs close to one of the two lakes in the neighborhood. Nearby amenities include the Palma Sola Botanical Park, Robinson Preserve and the De Soto National Memorial on the banks of the Manatee River. Property value appreciation in this community has been recently boosted by new construction, and this trend is expected to continue in the near future.
As previously mentioned, living in Fiddlers Green means that driving to the beach takes just 15 minutes, and driving to the closest Publix supermarket at Beachway Plaza takes only five minutes. If you enjoy boating, fishing and seafood cuisine, the Village of Cortez is a short 15-minute drive down 75th Street.
