Business magnates such as John Ringling and Addison Mizner were credited with bringing Mediterranean style to Florida, and it looked a bit different nearly a hundred years ago. The revival style you see today combines elements of Tuscan and French country design; at Palma Sola Park, you can still find examples of the original Mediterranean and Spanish Colonial mix.

Residents of Palma Sola Park enjoy one of the best locations in Bradenton. The Beachway Plaza shooping center, anchored by a Publix supermarket and Staples store, is just across the way from Manatee Avenue, and this road takes you to the Manatee County beaches as well as to Downtown Bradenton.
