This is a neighborhood where homeowners are known to hold on to their properties, and it is easy to understand why: even the coziest homes, which are all built in the Mediterranean revival style, offer at least 1,300 square feet of interior. If you are looking for more than three bedrooms, a four-bedroom home with two full bathrooms and 2,081 square feet of living space was listed under $340K in September 2018.

Barrington Ridge will appeal to home buyers who want nice lake or greenbelt views; this is a community where you can find ponds, nature preserves, walking trails, and green spaces that the whole family can enjoy. The community swimming pool features a playground complete with water slides that are perfect for children. Some of the attractions and suburban comforts located close to the neighborhood include: John H. Marble Park, the AMC Bradenton 20 multiplex, Publix at Lockwood Commons, which also happens to include an Aldi supermarket, a Sam’s Club, and the Peridia Golf Club. For even more shopping and entertainment, the University Town Center is less than a mile away.

Many residents of Barrington Ridge work, study or conduct business in Sarasota since it is actually closer than Bradenton. The beaches at Siesta Key are also closer than the ones in Manatee County, but the property tax rates are lower than in Sarasota. The key to buying a home here is to act quickly as soon as new listings are posted.
