Life at Avondale means tradition and convenience.  This is the most pedestrian-friendly neighborhood in Sarasota, just steps away from downtown and all the cultural activities.  Dining, shopping, recreation, and even business activities are all just a stroll away. Even the famous white-sand beaches of the Sarasota Keys are within biking distance.  Fishing, canoeing and nature walks can be enjoyed right in the neighborhood thanks to the Hudson Bayou.

Even school-age residents of Avondale will enjoy safety and convenience as they walk to the nearby Southside Elementary, Brookside Middle and Sarasota High Schools.
