Since there is no through traffic in Ballentine Manor, the neighborhood is very quiet. Downtown Sarasota is only a few minutes away, and all the suburban comforts of shopping and entertainment can be found along US 41, which is just a few blocks east from the community. Ballentine Manor is surrounded by country clubs, marinas, golf courses, and parks. The beaches of Cortez, Holmes and Longboat Key are just a short drive away.
Young residents can attend Emma Booker Elementary, Bay Haven, Booker Middle, and Booker High Schools from the Sarasota Public Schools District.
