Updated October 2026
SeaFlower Village Center is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated new shopping and dining destinations in West Bradenton, Florida. Located near Cortez Road West and 75th Street West at the entrance to the growing SeaFlower community, the Village Center is being designed as a walkable, mixed-use district where residents and visitors can shop, dine, meet friends, and take care of everyday errands close to home.
Phase One of SeaFlower Village Center is planned to include approximately 140,000 square feet of shopping, dining, and office space anchored by Publix. Restaurants, coffee shops, fitness studios, professional services, banks, a hotel, apartments, and a central Village Green are also part of the growing development.
SeaFlower Village Center in West Bradenton
The Village Center is a major piece of the larger SeaFlower master plan. Instead of functioning like a traditional suburban shopping plaza, the center is being designed to resemble a walkable town center or old-fashioned Main Street with storefronts, gathering areas, landscaping, pedestrian connections, and the community’s Village Green.
SeaFlower’s trail system will connect residential neighborhoods with the Village Center, parks, lakes, natural areas, and community amenities. Residents will be able to reach many destinations by walking, biking, or golf cart rather than relying on a car for every trip.
Publix at SeaFlower Village Center
Publix Super Markets will anchor SeaFlower Village Center at 7535 Cortez Road West in Bradenton. The approximately 50,000-square-foot grocery store is expected to become one of the center’s biggest everyday conveniences for SeaFlower residents as well as surrounding West Bradenton neighborhoods.
Publix currently lists the SeaFlower Village Center location as opening soon, with the new store scheduled to open on October 22, 2026. A separate Publix Liquors location is also planned as part of the center.
The addition of Publix is particularly significant for SeaFlower because it supports the community’s goal of creating a more connected lifestyle where grocery shopping, dining, services, recreation, and residential neighborhoods are located close together.

Fitness, Wellness & Personal Services
SeaFlower Village Center is being developed as more than a dining and shopping destination. A growing lineup of fitness, healthcare, grooming, and personal-service businesses will allow residents to handle many routine needs close to home.
- Club Pilates – Boutique fitness studio offering reformer-based Pilates classes for a range of experience levels.
- Degree Wellness – Wellness concept offering services focused on recovery and personal wellness.

Banking & Everyday Services
Financial services are also joining the Village Center, adding to the everyday convenience planned for the commercial district.
- PNC Bank
- Suncoast Credit Union
Together with Publix, restaurants, fitness, healthcare, personal services, and additional retail, these businesses will help SeaFlower Village Center function as an everyday destination rather than simply another shopping center.
SeaFlower Village Green
At the heart of the Village Center will be the Village Green, a public gathering space intended to host community activities, outdoor events, weekend markets, celebrations, and other programming.
The Village Green is an important part of SeaFlower’s walkable design. Instead of separating residential neighborhoods from commercial areas, the plan connects homes, shops, restaurants, parks, and gathering spaces through sidewalks and the Lake Flores Trail system.
Apartments & Hotel Planned at SeaFlower Village Center
SeaFlower Village Center is a true mixed-use development rather than a conventional retail plaza. Phase One plans also include approximately 332 apartments and a planned 120-room hotel.
The apartments will place additional residents directly within the Village Center, creating a walkable environment where people can live close to restaurants, shops, services, parks, and recreation. The hotel will eventually provide lodging for visitors to SeaFlower, Anna Maria Island, West Bradenton, IMG Academy, and the surrounding Gulf Coast area.
Additional apartments and hotel rooms are planned as the larger SeaFlower development continues to build out.
SeaFlower Village Center & the Lake Flores Trail
One of the features that separates SeaFlower Village Center from many traditional Bradenton shopping centers is its connection to the community’s trail network.
The Lake Flores Trail is a multi-modal path connecting SeaFlower neighborhoods with the Village Center, The Garden Club, Lake Flores Park, lakes, pocket parks, preserves, and other community destinations.
Residents will be able to walk, bike, or use golf carts for many trips within the community, supporting SeaFlower’s goal of creating a more connected and pedestrian-friendly coastal village.
What SeaFlower Village Center Means for West Bradenton
The Village Center is significant not only for SeaFlower residents but also for West Bradenton. This section of Manatee County has traditionally required residents to travel along Cortez Road or Manatee Avenue for many restaurants, shops, and everyday services.
SeaFlower Village Center will introduce a substantial new collection of businesses near the Gulf Coast while adding another grocery option, restaurants, financial services, healthcare, fitness, and personal services for nearby West Bradenton neighborhoods.
Its location is also convenient to Anna Maria Island, Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach, IMG Academy, Palma Sola Bay, and many of the parks and preserves located throughout coastal Manatee County.
Living Near SeaFlower Village Center
For homebuyers, having a walkable commercial center inside the larger SeaFlower community adds another dimension to the neighborhood. Residents will eventually be able to combine new construction living with nearby groceries, coffee, restaurants, fitness, services, parks, trails, and community events.
SeaFlower offers a variety of housing options including single-family homes, villas, and attached residences. Buyers can explore the broader community on our SeaFlower Homes for Sale page.
